A couple weeks ago, we posted a blog about Mardi Gras 2010 at Universal Studios Resort in Orlando, Florida. Universal officially announced the concert line up and some general details about the event. We are very happy to bring you updated and specific event information, including event dates and times, park hours, parade and concert times, and culinary selections.
Event Overview
This year, Universal Studios Orlando celebrates the 15th year of their Mardi Gras event, which is an added-value event included with general park admission. There will be a night-time parade each night of the event, consisting of 12 “Heritage Mardi Gras” themed floats. There will be one headlining band performing each night on the Music Plaza Stage, and one band direct from New Orleans performing each Mardi Gras night in the French Quarter.

Mardi Gras Food & Beverage

Enjoy Cajun Cuisine, including Spicy Jambalaya, Grilled Andouille Sausage, Shrimp Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice. Take a bite out of Mama Damita’s Pizza (Cheese and Pepperoni). Try Cajun Cookin’, featuring Shrimp Po Boy’s and Cheesesteaks and French Quarter Desserts, including beignets (our favorite!) and funnel cakes. Lastly, be sure to check out the VooDoo Bars!

CityWalk
Universal CityWalk Party Pass is included on any Universal Multi-Day ticket for the length of the ticket and gives you free admission to select CityWalk Clubs. On Mardi Gras event nights, the Universal Studios Single Day Ticket will also include admission to select CityWalk Clubs. Adults must be 21+ to enter most of the clubs. The New Orleans Bands from the French Quarter that night will perform later in the evening at CityWalk.
