Harry Potter Attraction | Orlando Florida
As more details are released regarding Universal Orlando Resort’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter Attraction, the more fans are eager for it to open so they can experience it for themselves. Word now is the attraction will open at Universal in the spring of 2010.
Barry Meyer, chairman and CEO of Warner Bros stated, “Over the years we’ve received thousands of letters from fans around the world wishing they could visit Hogwarts and the wonderful locations described in each of JK Rowling’s beloved stories.” It appears as if next spring Potter fans will finally have their wishes granted. The new land at Islands of Adventure is expected to have a recreation of Hogwart’s Castle and the Forbidden Forest.
One of the stars of the Harry Potter franchise, Emma Watson, said the core cast has filmed scenes that will be incorporated in to the ride, so the interactivity of the attraction will remain true to both characters and plot.
The location of the attraction will encompass a portion of the Lost Continent area, as well as some undeveloped land previously not used at the Islands of Adventure section of Universal Orlando Resort. The attraction will draw from all of the books, creating a fully immersive environment perfect for Harry Potter fans of all ages.
