Wouldn’t it be super cool if you could check out the Orlando theme parks with up-close, 360 degree detail before even setting foot in the parks? Now, with the help of Google Street View, Sea World guests can do just that! Virtual visits to the Sea World parks in Orlando, San Antonio, and San Diego, as well as Discovery Cove and Aquatica in Orlando, are now online. All other Sea World Parks and Entertainment parks will soon follow, including Busch Gardens parks in Tampa and Williamsburg, VA.

Nearly every inch of the Sea World parks was mapped using one of Google’s “Trikes” – a state-of-the-art camera that automatically gathers photos from the back of a modified bicycle. The 250-pound Trike, including the camera and a GPS system, was pedal-powered by a Goggle staff member. Google software then blends the images, creating the interactive and completely moveable 360-degree scenes in Street View.
Wanna check it out?  Street View visits to the parks are accessible via Web and mobile applications.  Go to maps.google.com and search for any of the Sea World parks, Discovery Cove, or Aquatica.  Then, drag the orange “pegman” icon (found at the top left of the map) for a “walking tour.”
