Makahiki Luau at Sea World Orlando

Polynesian Feast and Celebration

Guests visiting Orlando, Florida can be overwhelmed by the various attractions and activities that we have to offer, and are constantly asking us for suggestions.  Questions we get a lot are:  What is there to do at night once the theme parks close?  And: Are there any exciting shows or memorable dinner options?  There are numerous, amazing dinner shows in Orlando, and one of our favorites to suggest is the Makahiki Luau Dinner Show at Sea World.

The Makahiki Luau takes guests on a breathtaking and unforgettable voyage through song and dance to the Islands of the Pacific, celebrating its ancient customs, rhythmic music and dance, authentic costumes and delectable cuisine.  Guests can expect nothing but the highest of quality entertainment and cuisine from the Polynesian-style dinner show, a product of the Sea World Parks and Entertainment brand.

This Polynesian festival fills the air with exotic and untamed energy, and takes place at the Sea Fire Inn and Grill, an indoor restaurant at the Sea World theme park located near the Waterfront.  The tropics of the Pacific Island are brought to life , as guests witness the most breathtaking and authentic fire dances this side of the islands!  The performers are not typical theme park entertainment, but actually consist of memebrs of a fire-dancing family who have been performing with Sea World for years.  So, when we say authentic, we mean the show is truly authentic!
The dinner show is sold separately and reservations are required to

attend.  The show is held Tuesday through Saturday, with show times at 6:00 PM.  (Days and show times may be added during peak seasons.)  Guests do not need Sea World park admission to attend the show.  With Makahiki Luau Tickets, guests can enter Sea World at 5:00 PM.  You may be prompted to pay a parking fee, depending on if the parking toll booths have been closed for the day.  Unfortunately, it’s hit or miss, depending on how busy the park is on a particular day.  But, be prepared to pay the daily parking fee of $14.  We recommend heading straight to the Sea Fire Inn and Grill Restaurant, as show attendees tend to start lining up outside early.  Doors will open at 5:30 PM.  The show lasts about 1.5 hours.  Keep in mind, if the park is open late, you can stay after the show and enjoy the park until it closes.  Children under 3 are free, but require reservation.
