Orlando’s historical, scientific and art centers are both informative and entertaining. Orlando Museum of Art has collected and exhibited notable works of art since 1924. WorderWorks is “where science has gone crazy”, with over 100 hands on exhibits that both mystify and entertain visitors with the oddities of science. Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum offers vast collections of amazing, mysterious and unbelievable oddities from around the world. ArtsFest, held in February, is a nine-day celebration of the culture and arts, with 340 events highlighting the arts and cultural relevance. JazzFest Kissimmee is a two day celebration of jazz, featuring both professional and amateur jazz musicians. The Orlando Carnival is a Caribbean style Mardi Gras, held on Memorial Day Weekend, this is a party you do not want to miss. Another event that is not to be missed by any artist or lover of art is Nude Nite. Actually three nights in February where artists exhibit art in every form that celebrate the human body.

Orlando is also home to the NBA team, the Orlando Magic as well as the arena football team, the Orlando Predators. Nascar fans will be delighted to know that Orlando is quick drive away from Daytona and the Daytona 500. Perhaps you want to do the sporting yourself.
