Celebrating 2010 New Years Eve In Orlando Florida
Yes, it’s the time of year when we all want to be with friends and family to usher in the new year and to hopefully do it somewhere else other than at home. I can’t think of any place else other than a beautiful, warm central Florida. Many people that are here already are scurrying around town trying to find a celebration destination for that magic evening and are starting to find out that they are all sold out. Universal Studios Orlando has a evening of private concerts and buffet food, but unfortunately they have been sold out for over a month. Unless you know someone high up on the food chain that works for Universal Studios, you are out of luck unfortunately. Walt Disney World Orlando is also have a few high end events taking place at their theme parks and are free with your admission tickets. Magic Kingdom has the best of the best fireworks show at 12 pm. to bring in the new year, but it will be packed to the hilt. So if you are planning on being at this smaller park of Walt Disney, be there early, like at 8 am. when they open and do not leave as they are sure to reach capacity by 11 am. Also the Magic Kingdom does not sell alcohol, so keep this in mind. Epcot center is my favorite place to be on New Years Eve as this is a huge park and people disperse well here. Also, Epcot sells alcohol which is a bonus when you want to bring in the new year with a Champagne toast. Epcot Center’s Illuminations firework show will be held at 11:40 pm. so be prepared for a dazaling pirotechenic performance here. Disney Hollywood Studios will be having a new, Lights! Camera! New Year’s Eve Fireworks show at 12 pm. Hollywood Studios is a smaller park like Magic Kingdom and you will definatly feel the people here. The good thing is that almost all the people here are in celebration mode, so I am sure it will be a awsome expierence to say the least. Hollywood Studios also sells alchaol as well. All Disney tickets for these events should be purchased imiedatly if you plan on attending these world famous events and be there early as they will shut down entrance to everyone if they reach capacity. Busch Gardens is also having a spectacular New Years event and tickets to Busch Gardens are required for this event. If you do not have your Busch Gardens tickets, please call us at 1-877-406-4836 and we can get you set up pronto! They will have music, parades and fireworks at midnight. Busch Gardens is in Tampa, so prepare for a 1 hour drive both ways. Seaworld Orlando will be having a Fireworks show at the Bayside arena and they will also have D.J.’s playing music all evening. This park is a big park and can hold many visitors without having that crowded feeling. Seaworld tickets are required for this event and alchole is sold thru out the park. If the theme parks are not your style, then I would recommend Down Town Orlando. This famous hot spot is sure to please old and young alike. There are many clubs that cater to all ages and music types and then there is Lake Eola in the heart of Down town Orlando. Please check with the Orlando Chamber of Commerce to ask what the best attack plan for New Years Eve is in their view.
