Starting summer 2017, WDW (Walt Disney World) fans will step inside ‘Pandora: The World of Avatar’ – the most anticipated fictional planet of the tall blue Na’vi at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. A visit to this one of a kind attraction will put you right in the middle of the most immersive theme park experience ever. Thanks to the Imagineers in instilling life to an epic concept. Avatar is a unique story. An imagination that has given birth to one of the most successful movie of all time. And now with its live version Disney is taking the excitement to next level.
Imagine a never before canoe ride through the sacred Na’vi River attraction that takes you through the most amazing habitat, featuring bio-luminescent rain-forest, floating mountains and more. You will also encounter Na’vi Shaman – (the character who is so integral to Pandora’s life force) at the end of the family friendly river journey. Guests will also enjoy the most mysterious flight of their life. Just like the way the natives fly on banshees in the movie, guests have their unique banshees to ride over the world of Pandora too.
The latest revelations on Avatar Land is made at The D23 event called the Destination D: Amazing Adventures event in Orlando, Florida. At the Event Disney unveils images that highlights important areas of the attraction such as the Satu’li canteen, Windtraders shopping, Pongu Pongu and more. The company also reveals detail about the bridge that connects Pandora to the rest of the Park area. The story that revolves round the mysterious bridge tells about a destructive company who built it long ago, and now it shows evidence that the evil company is back to accomplish its destructive intent once again.
There were also important updates on another most ambitious project – The Star Wars Land at the Hollywood Studios Park of the WDW Resort. But unlike Avatar Land, there was no opening date announcement for Star Wars as such. However, fans of this famous intergalactic fantasy world can still catch the latest glimpse of the attraction. Disney Imagineers had unveiled a new aerial view of the concept art for the upcoming Star Wars Land.
