The American Idol Experience | Disney’s Hollywood Studios

American Idol

While guests are usually the ones to enjoy the attractions and shows at the Walt Disney World Resort, “The American Idol Experience” places Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests in the spotlight, allowing them to experience them the thrill of auditioning and performing or voting on their favorite musical performances.

Modeled after the famous “American Idol” television show, the newly opened Walt Disney World attraction makes dreams come true by showcasing the talents of park guests age 14 and older who have aced the auditions (audition slots are limited and interested guests are encouraged to arrive early).

Like the television show, fans – not the onstage judges – have the final say on who is deemed the best of the best. With seating to accommodate 1,000 audience members, the high-tech theater features keypads at each seat so guests can vote for their favorite singer.

Howl-O-Scream 2009 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay!

Final Lilith Aggressive (low res)

This fall, guests should be watching their backs as Howl-O-Scream celebrates a decade of diabolical scares with its 10th year of terror at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

For 17 select nights in September and October, the Gulf coast’s premiere adventure park transforms into Florida’s top-rated Halloween event – a park-wide nightmare of inescapable fear with seductive surprises around every turn. Devious creatures infest Busch Gardens’ 335 acres with dark, sinister, adult-targeted fun, including more all-new haunted houses than ever before, spine-tingling scare zones and thrilling live stage shows. Even the streets themselves aren’t safe from the wandering hoards and other terrors of the night, and bone-chilling roller coasters keep the screams coming all night long. Howl-O-Scream 2009 will leave you begging for mercy…and screaming for more.

Kennedy Space Center

Kennedy Space Center

It’s awesome to experience. The  Shuttle Launch Experience at Kennedy Space Center has to be seen to be believed. The Shuttle Launch is part of your admission package at the Kennedy Space Center.

“It’s not a thrill ride,” said Dan LeBlanc, chief operating officer of the Visitor Complex. “You won’t be dodging asteroids or battling any aliens. We have worked hard to ensure that it is as close as you can be to simulating the reality of a Space Shuttle launch within the confines of Earth’s gravity.”
