For more than 22 years, Arabian Nights Dinner Attraction has provided guests of all ages with dazzling entertainment in a Broadway-style show on horseback and a delicious three-course meal. This year that experience is better than ever with changes in every area of guest interaction, inspired by dynamic new management team members.

In 2010, Mark Miller, Owner and CEO of Arabian Nights announced the promotion of Hanna Miller to President and Audrey Padgett to Executive Vice President. Both have many years of experience with the company and are eager to make it better than ever. Paul Proly was also hired as Vice President of Sales, Arden Tilghman joined the company as Director of Guest Experience and Tracy Charlier was promoted to Production Director. These Executive Team members and many other managers are working hard to unveil exciting changes in 2010.

The first change can be seen before guests arrive at Arabian Nights, with a new design and user-friendly interface at www.Arabian-Nights.com, where guests can now purchase tickets online. Guests can also find Arabian Nights on Twitter and Facebook to learn about the latest happenings and receive special offers.

Upon arrival at Arabian Nights, guests will enjoy new pre-show entertainment, the performance of a talented belly dancer. She gets the crowd moving and will ask for volunteers to dance with her on stage. During the pre-show there is also a full cash bar available and guests are welcome to peruse the gift shop.

During this time, guests who have chosen to upgrade will partake in a new VIP Experience, which includes a special backstage presentation, guaranteed seating in the first three rows, a complimentary beverage for each guest and a souvenir bag with posters and bracelets.

“We wanted to make the VIP Experience more exciting and informative, so we added theatrical elements to showcase individual horses in the parade of breeds and created a series of stations designed to give guests one-on-one time with the horses and performers,” said Director of Guest Experience Arden Tilghman.

The new VIP Experience begins with a private Parade of Breeds in the arena prior to the show, with several of the beautiful and talented horses and their riders. During the parade, guests learn about a few special breeds of horse that call Arabian Nights home, and see a demonstration of their special skills. At the conclusion of the parade, VIP guests can meet, photograph and learn more about five horses at stations in the arena. Guests under the age of 18 can also sit on a 2,000 lb draft horse used in the show for a great photo opportunity.

After the VIP Experience, the magic truly begins, as guests are seated in the world’s largest climate controlled arena for a permanent show to place their dinner orders and enjoy the 1 hour and 30 minute production.

This May, Arabian Nights unveils an updated menu, with larger portions of the garden salad, sirloin steak, certified Black Angus chopped steak with gravy, pork tenderloin with Marsala sauce and grilled chicken breast, as well as a new recipe for creamy vegetable lasagna and delicious macaroni and cheese served with the children’s chicken tenders. The biggest change to the menu adds a sweet finish, with a new choice of either Oreo fudge brownie or cheesecake with strawberry sauce.

Executive Vice President Audrey Padgett said, “We took our guests’ opinions to heart and used their feedback to create a menu that everyone will enjoy. Larger portions, better presentation and two outstanding dessert options are sure to please guests of all ages!”

In addition to the improvements to the menu, VIP Experience and the website, Arabian Nights has also added new music and choreography to many of the 22 acts featured in the show. A new partnership with 5 Alarm Productions means that the music is customized for each act in the show, from the Royal Horseman quadrille to the Western Square Dance.

The Arabian Nights show takes guests on the journey of a girl named Scheherazade, who discovers that she is a princess on the night of her 18th birthday and that the prince of her dreams is real. She is joined by two magical genies who create a variety of entertainment for the princess and guests, from western cowboys and romantic Spanish riders to daring Gypsy acrobats and Roman charioteers.

Arabian Nights continues to set the industry standard in 2010, and more changes are on the horizon as customer service training kicks off this summer and new acts for the show are in production for the fall.
