The Resort’s long list of exciting new attractions, it recently unveils for the year 2017, has reasons enough to boost the park’s attendance. The most anticipated line-up of fresh attractions, including special shows and events will surely deliver the must needed fodder – inspire guests to visit the popular marine theme park again and again.

One of the main SeaWorld highlights for 2017 is the Kraken Virtual Reality (VR) Coaster. The inclusion of virtual reality narrative to the legendary ride attraction brings a new level of excitement and interest to the ride. In fact, the addition of new technology makes it one of the most unique roller coaster experience altogether – the first of its kind ride attraction in Florida. The all new Kraken attraction puts you in under the ocean’s surface, where strange sea creatures of the past, including the mighty Kraken – the mythical sea serpent joins you on a never before ride experience.

Seven Seas Festival is having extended weekends for its upcoming celebrations in SeaWorld Orlando. The popular music and food event is running for 14 weekends starting February, 2017. It brings to life a host of new culinary experiences for guests at the park. Brew tasters can also have their tastiest delights by indulging in a variety of local, seasonal and exotic brews at the Event. The Seven Seas Festival is inspired by street food from Asia, South America, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

The new nightly show – Electric Ocean is another 2017 highlights, debuting next summer. Electric Ocean show makes a perfect end-of-the-day spectacle, where the ocean comes to life like never before. The whole area turns into a glowing sea of wonder with fireworks, fountains, lights and music. There is also a new show at the Nautilus Theater, debuting next summer, on the Memorial Day weekend.

For annual pass holders, the Aquatica Pass Member Pavilion opens during the spring break time next year. The all new pass member pavilion features concierge service, complimentary sunscreen, private entrance to the beach, private encounters with SeaWorld animals and other special offers. And not to be missed – the Dolphin Nursery, which gets even more interactive with up-close encounters in ways like never before. If I were there at the Event this time, then the Exorcist is easily one of my must visit houses. The haunted maze is a unique creation that the Universal creative team has to offer. Based on the horror blockbuster of all time, the Exorcist features as many horrifying scenes recreating the terror with great technical precision.

The American Horror Story is another most important highlights this year – comes to you in the form of an all new and elaborate terror house. It features three seasons of the popular FX series – the Murder House, Freak Show and Hotel. FX Fans will experience the live version for the first time. They will actually step inside the scenes of their favorite TV shows.

Halloween Horror Nights 26 also houses some of the most outrageous shows ever. The 2016 Fest brings two of them. And as a true Halloween Horror Nights fan you should not miss either of them. You must attend both – Bill & Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure, and the newest Academy of Villains House of Fear. Again your visit to Horror Nights Fest is not complete without braving the audition of a lifetime with – A Chance in Hell. Your appointment with pure mayhem starts from the moment you join Chance in her bloodiest show ever. While the scar-zones, mazes and shows are the main attractions, the popular rides offer a thrilling break as well.

The Disney World’s Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is one of the most popular attractions of the annual Halloween Event hosted by the Resort. This one of a kind castle stage show is a big hit when it was introduced for the first time at the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2015. And as anticipated, the popular stage show returns for the second time now. It brings to life the spooky story from the 1993 classic cult movie right in the middle of the happiest Halloween Party on earth. Hocus Pocus is one of the most favorite and not to be missed Party highlights for Disney fans during the 2016 Event.

If you are attending the special Magic Kingdom hosted Halloween party this year, be sure to visit the Hocus Pocus stage show. Here we have the Sanderson sisters – busy casting their worst spells on the audience. The evil Sisters are not alone, they are accompanied by other familiar Disney villains, such as Oogie Boogie, Maleficient and Dr. Facilier – as they all gathered to help the Sisters prepare the world’s most fiendish potion ever.

Along with the Hocus Pocus show, there are many other special surprises for the Party guests as well. Some of the must visit fun activities and shows the Event offers include the sensational Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade. This special spooktacular parade features some of the most eerily awesome floats with costumed characters, including villains, pirates and not to forget the Haunted Mansion stars. The Parade is truly one of the star attractions with two pre-parades – one led by the Headless Horseman and his hair-raising ride, and the other is the all new Zootopia Party Patrol, can be only viewed from the Main Street USA.

The breath-taking fireworks show – Happy Hallowishes is another must see attraction during the Party. It features an incredible display of fireworks, including castle projections with Disney Villains fill the sky like never before. Again, it’s never an easy task to find such unique Disney characters and take a life-time picture with them. The rare character meet and greet opportunities at the Halloween Party offer the ultimate characters experiences with the likes of Jack Skellington and Sally, Lady Carlotta from Haunted Mansion and many others.
