Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney

Blessed with the world’s most incredible acts of acrobats and live performances, the Cirque du Soleil La Nouba show probably offers the best entertainment option of its kind in Florida. The one of a kind avant-garde circus spectacle is in fact a true inspiration to celebrate life in a way not possible in mundane world today. It gives you the opportunity to enjoy the best of what an impressively innovative circus has to offer. And I think La Nouba is truly a magical delight whose inexpressible beauty is best experienced only when seeing it live by you personally.

La Nouba as the name suggests aims at giving an out of the world experience to its ever-increasing fan-base. Also it is exciting to know that among the most celebrated stage shows of the Cirque du Soleil production, La Nouba boasts some of the most difficult aspects of the Cirque shows. Whether it’s the awesome cast and their daring acts or their outrageous costumes and the moving live music with professional bands and singers, there awaits a whole new theatrical experience altogether. In fact it’s all about the incredible performances by a group of over sixty-five most talented artists from across the globe that makes the show one of the most favorite Cirque offerings ever.

All of the performers including gymnast, acrobats, dancers and clowns in the show are highly talented artists and professionals. They are extensively trained in the art of story-telling through movement in their bodies. Seeing them performing live in such high energy theatrical acts is a rare experience. As an audience it seems the journey of imagination has never been presented in such rich, engaging and awe-inspiring way. It is no surprise that while the performers contort on the suspended ropes the audience just get dragged into a world never seen before.

Imagine a show where every act performed is an extraordinary feat of imagination. Imagine a theatre that brings to you an incredible ninety minutes of art, life and high drama in the most engaging and mystifying way possible. La Nouba is a real theatrical delight of all times. The freestanding theatre at the Downtown Disney West Side of the WDW (Walt Disney World) Resort leaves no stone unturned to keep the excitement alive and ever -refreshing. Since inception there is always something new and exciting to cheer for at La Nouba, as the show never grows old.

Moreover, like all other favorite WDW attractions, Cirque Du Soleil’s La Nouba is also inspired with new experiences for fans and vacationers. And the latest option that is available for guests in this regard is the launch of the all new “L’Experience”. It offers a highly personalized and exclusive Cirque experience, including access to special behind-the-scene tour of the stage and opportunity to meet the favorite performers.

The Official Ticket Center ~ Of all the favorite Disney stage shows I’d enjoyed, the Cirque du Soleil La Nouba holds a very special place in my heart. Packed with breathtaking circus extravaganzas, thrilling acrobatics and awesome music, La Nouba represents a unique theatrical delight. In fact it’s a gem of an entertainment with imaginative storyline that combines the best of both worlds in the most inspired location of the world. I suggest a visit to this one of a kind family oriented show is a must for guests looking for quality time in the Downtown Disney Area.

It’s always magical to be at a Disney property and special WDW (Walt Disney World) partner attractions such as La Nouba aptly justifies that amazing concept. The show shares the same sense of wonder and whimsy that one looks for with anything Disney. Right from the start it keeps you engaged with endless imaginations, features mesmerizing high wire and flying trapezes, stunning acrobats and other dynamic displays in the midst of opulent sets, choreography and provocative music.

Being the only show of its kind, La Nouba receives the highest of appreciations from fans since inception. For over a period of fifteen years till now, the show keeps growing with constant passion and the sense of freshness prevails with every performance it has. Whether it’s the non-stop ninety minutes of daring acts with sheer athleticism or the flawless and graceful presentations on part of the performers, the intensity and excitement among the audience always remains intact regardless of the age and the number of shows it presents till date.

Watching the imaginative and high flying show is truly a memorable treat for the entire family. Millions and millions of fans have been delighted by it till now and the number keeps increasing. There is so much to have right from the beginning of the show that it becomes impossible to stay un-amused even for the most discerning one. As a great fan of the incredible show I think enjoying this visually stunning and athletic celebration of imagination is a dream come true experience.

Moreover, unlike the other Cirque shows, it’s the only non-touring show housed in a free-standing custom building with about 70 cast members from around the world. Also it’s interesting to know that almost twenty per cent of the original cast members still performing at this high wire, imaginative and acrobatic theatrical attraction. Another significant highlight of this show is the fact that despite its circus like ambience there is no animals to be seen as part of the cast.

New Circue Du Soleil comes to Orlando

Cirque Du Soleil Saltimbanco Some 25 years later, Carmen Ruest’s will return to Orlando with latest project bigger than ever. Back in the 70’s, Ruest was performed on stilts in Quebec before La Nouba ever existed. At that time, Club Des Talons Hauts (High Heels Club) was formed becoming known as Cirque Du Soleil.

Now, twenty five years later, Cirque Du Soleil will celebrate it’s 25th anniversary with 5 shows in Tampa including a debute at La Nouba downtown Disney. This time, when Cirque Du Soleil comes to Lakeland, Ruest herself will direct the Saltimbanco Arena Tour. This will be a first-ever world-class show according to analysts.

Saltimbanco which means to “Jump the Bench” will coming to Lakeland for 5 shows. Being less technically advanced, “it was easier to adapt” said Ruest. Saltimbanco debuted in 1992 and later reached stardom in 2007.

Surrounding a common village theme, today people are leaving rural areas and moving to urban settings reflecting the global trends of the time. With so much crime in the cities today, Ruest thought it might be nice to reflect the big cities with positive vibrant colors.

A show for the whole family, Saltimbanco will cause guests to face the future as well as transform their thoughts. With 47 artists from 19 countries, the show offers a whole host of diversity including jugglers, eye-level acrobatics, and solo bike acts. Transforming the show into a traveling arena was no small challenge while maintaining the show size of the stage.
